DJ Lapa, previously known by his stage name DJ Shout and Ashraf Lapa. He first became interested in music by late 1997. The first mixtape started with recording various Artists track compilations with MC shoutouts on the cassettes. As a hobby he began to play and mix music at private events in Khartoum, Sudan. In the Millenium 2000, DJ Lapa traveled to Poland to study Architecture at first and later on he studied Cinematography and Film Production. The interest in Films and Music led him to upgrade his interests as a Deejay and Producer. Following the years in 2001 he began to perform as a Resident DJ at Pod Jaszczurami Club, one of the oldest and most renowned clubs in Poland. Later in 2002, DJ Lapa became one of the primary members of the UMT Project performing on stages back-to-back with DJ Magio. The Duo in 2004 founded their original artistic project Afrojockers.
DJ Magio, previously known as M.De Fan, launched his music interests and passions in early 1995 in Khartoum, Sudan. In the same following year he traveled to Poland to study Architecture as a profession. Within the years of Architectural concepts the profession had been evaluated into the deejay scene with live mixing performances. In Summer 2002 DJ Magio officially started Deejaying around clubs. The first performances as a Resident DJ took place at Archiwum Club, one of the fancy lounge clubs in Poland. After, he became one of the main members of the UMT Project that was contracted and promoted by DJ Night Booking Agency of Austria. In 2004 Magio joined his brother on an original duo project Afrojockers.

The duo’s first steps in DJing began in 2001 with DJ Angelo Cross (R.I.P) from London, who previously performed as a DJ with English electronic dance music band the Prodigy. Before Afrojockers, the duo performed under the stage name UMT Project, which was active in the years (2001 – 2009) together with DJ Booking Agency from Austria and BPM Beat Promotion from Warsaw. Along with the UMT Project they released two remixes for known Arabic artists as “(Amr Diab – Feek Kull Alkalam)” and “(Samira Said – Eurobica – V1r00z Edit)” which were released by Universal Poland. Back then UMT Project ranked at number #52 on “THE DJ LIST” under the category of House Music.

2004 was the official year for Afrojockers to appear on different stages and shows. Up to date the duo performs in 90% of clubs in Cracow throughout Poland and internationally touring in Great Britain, Germany, Ukraine and Sudan. Afrojockers released their first Music Video “Better Place” in 2013. Next, they released “111” & “For You”, which were streamed via Internet, Social Media, Music Blogs and with other Partner’s sites as “DEEJAY MIX CLUB”, “DJ Magazine”, “DJ Promotion” where various CD compilations were recorded. In 2017, Afrojockers, V1r00z and vocalist Roxana Tutaj, released the single “Love You Anymore” and the official extended remixes. The single was officially signed to the label KHB Records in Germany. After a media promotion the single become a success and labeled for eight weeks on the German charts and ranked #17 on “Dance Chart” & “Music Worx – Digital Music Promotion”. The Single hit the charts on “Noize Field” as the track of the Week and on the Polish “DJ’s Magazine Hot Charts” which achieved the position #32.
The Official Premiere of the Music Video “Love you anymore” was broadcasted on “MTV & VIVA (Switzerland)” as well transmitted on “4 Fun Dance (Poland)”. For consecutive twelve weeks the track was #9 on the “Top 50 Disco” list. The duet’s tracks and production were played on international and internet radios. Last but not least streamed on iTunes, Spotify and Beatport in the following countries: Germany, England, Austria, Taiwan, Mexico, India, The Netherlands, Italy, USA, Brazil, Malaysia, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Japan, Luxemburg, Norway, Peru, Sudan, Poland, Philippines, Turkey, Spain, Colombia, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and more.

Afrojockers were invited to perform LIVE on Open Air Festivals as Audio Lake (Edition 2012/2017), Maj Raj, Rajd PK, The Great Orchestra of Charity XIV Final, PAH, A.K.O.N UJ, Juvenalia University of Economics, Juvenalia AWF 2017, DJ Day Poland, Congress Center ICE Krakow and others. In addition, Lapa & Magio played LIVE DJ Sets on radio stations as Radio Planeta, Radio Eska, Radio Live Session (Venezuela), Radio La Paz (Bolivia), Radio Mango 96 FM, Radio 101 Vision FM (Sudan), Radio STO, Radio Record and online Radio (Rave FM).
